About episode 1: I enjoyed it, it had some challenging and crazy parts, some puzzles, and some frustrations. We get to play two distinct stories from four different characters (two on each story side - so far), as it'll be alongside the rest of the game.
Sadly, the co-op mode is only available through local/remote play, would've been better if it included an online co-op mode too.

Still the same kind, sympathetic, caring and sweet Claire in a new scrape, in a new style and in a new quality, many years after the events in Raccoon and on Rockfort Island. And the iconic return of Barry and his daughter. And for the costumes, especially for the RE2 costume for Claire. I recommend buying the full bundle. Believe me - it's worth it!!! 10 out of 10 possible points
Played this one in 2015 on ps Vita. An undead game for an undead console - what a suitable pair, but first thing that I must note about this one is it was ported by Iron galaxy. They became known after Arkham knight fiasco, but for Vita owners they were there earlier. What I mean is technical state of this game was horrible. The bushes in this version came straight from Duke Nukem 3D, frame drops were constant, the 1st episode was almost unbeatable knife-only.
And that is where the game itself comes - it was great, the structure of the story itself kept interest, all 4 main characters were likeable, the gameplay was slow and steady, just how I prefer. This is the game that perfected the gameplay loop for later use in Remakes. For a than newbie RE Enjoyer (this was my second game in the series) it was so much fun, that I played all modes and then finished several more playtroughs. So how did I spent t other hours there - Raid mode. This is peak RE mode for me to this day: nice gameplay loop, different locations and enenemies, ways to adapt gamplay for your playstyle. This game I would recommend.
Platinum: The 100%/Platinum here is decent - I've collected all medals in around three runs, and done both countdown and invisible mode without much difficulties. Also knife in this game in OP.
P.S. finished the run of PS4 version not so long ago. It was great to see that this game in fact visually was pretty good. The knife was not so op as it was before (Maybe it is my memory but I'm sure something changed) But the rerun was still good, raid mode is still the best, countdown and invisible, those two were still easy, but not so fun.
All in all: this game I definitely recommend.

A solid Resident Evil experience. A clear step up from the previous Revelations game, it takes it central idea of being a simplified version of a core action-centric RE game and builds on that. I only played the Campaign and the DLC chapters, I don´t think the gameplay is solid enough to justify playing the Raid mode. The story is fun enough, and the chapter structure helps a lot with the pacing and with keeping it engaging. Extremely dumb as a Resident Evil story should be.
Gameplay isn´t great, but it´s fun enough to sustain a couple of hours of playtime, and it's a surprisingly polished experience overall.
I don´t think the DLC chapters are worth it if you aren´t really into the game as a whole, they don´t really add much of interest.

Mixed feelings and wasted potential is really the name of the game for these mainline releases post RE4 for me. Has episodic structure like Revelations 1 but does this in a way that doesn’t break the flow of the story with constant and unexpected character switching. The two different narratives and playable characters actually make the story more engaging, which I don’t want to explain further lest I spoil the game.
Gameplay is some of the most fluid feeling of any of the 3rd person action RE games. Game can be surprisingly challenging at times both due to enemy balancing and lack of resources, which is certainly welcome. Controls and movement are good enough that you always feel capable of tackling these challenges.
Joint narratives are also nice with Barry’s characterization as a gruff but loving father being a standout despite being a bit cliched. Claire Redfield felt underutilized from a character perspective and also didn’t feel like she had even close to the same personality as she does in the other games.
Biggest problem with this game is that it seems to severely lack any identity. This makes it hard for me to have any affection for this game despite thinking that it’s pretty solid experience. It borrows heavily from The Last of Us with the abandoned and overgrown soviet factory town you’re exploring, the stealth mechanics, the crafting mechanics, and Barry’s storyline where he has to take care of a surrogate daughter figure. Revelations makes a pretty decent game out of these borrowed ideas but one that doesn’t feel particularly memorable or impressive despite being a quality experience. Definitely easy to like but hard to love. I can imagine almost any Resident Evil game - even 6 and Rev 1 - being someone’s favorite in the series since they all bring something unique to the table. Most people dislike RE6 but it’s indisputably a very unique game with a lot of personality and ambition behind it. For anything that distinctive there’s always going to be people who love it. I have a very hard time imagining anyone loving this game.

This is a fun RE game but definitely not one of my favs. Some sections get to be bland and tedious. This installment felt more like psychological horror than survival horror, which was completely fine however the execution was a bit off. The atmosphere was boring compared to other RE games. The story is pretty cool and I enjoyed the expansions to the lore. The whole multiple endings thing is cool, but meeting the conditions for either ending requires making a specific decision in episode 3, meaning the second half of the game has to be played through completely twice to get the complete story. I feel like I will probably pick it back up in the future to get the other ending, but there are certain sections in the second half of the game that are so tedious that I probably won't be playing this one again for a minute
