relic of the past, silly little distraction :]

u need a old ass phone to play this now but wow what a game

Forever chasing the next Ridiculous Fishing. This game has the best progression system in any game. Long enough that you feel like you have to grind a little bit, but not so long that you feel like you're stuck in one place.

Quick, fun experience. Music is fantastic and goes well with the chaotic gameplay loop. Definitely recommended if you want something fast paced to play on your phone. There may be compatibility issues since the devs split up and aren't actively supporting/updating their old products. Also, the same man that composed the Spelunky soundtrack did the music for this.

Wonderful mobile game with intuitive gameplay and compelling progression. The basics are brilliant, first you must go as deep as possible by avoiding as many fish as you can, then you must do opposite on the way up - catching as many as you can - before finally shooting down the fish you fished for dollars. Each step of the gameplay loop works well, and compliments the other phases beautifully well. Then, you get upgrades that make things even more interesting and keep you on the hook. <3

The pinnacle of fishing, and mobile gaming. Also the soundtrack is spectacular. Eirik Suhrke is the best in the biz.

I remember when mobile phone games didn't have gatcha mechanics.

one of those perfect iOS games from the early days when people were still figuring out what the hell you make for smartphones. probably the peak of phone games, hard to think of any way it could be better.

Haven't played it in quite some time, but this had to have been the coolest mobile game ever. In Ridiculous Fishing, you fish with an anchor instead of a lure. You reel in as many fish at a time as you damn well please. You launch those fuckers as far as you can into the stratosphere before loudly, viscerally blasting them to fish giblets with your trusty fishing blunderbuss. Only docking points cuz they have yet to legalize that shit irl.

Meilleur jeu mobile de tous les temps.

The greatest fishing game of all time

warning of not complete knowledge: i'm stuck on the last fish of the arctic level, so i have not seen The End

ridiculous fishing's many mechanics work together like clockwork. witnessing it occur for the first time is magic. getting good at it feels like magic. however, the sending the line down phase carries so much more importance over the other two, that i find myself quitting the app to try to go deeper. it gives each round a bit more frustration than excitement at trying again.

The first two phases of each game are immaculately balanced, nearly perfect in the way they complement one another; the third, while appealingly "ridiculous", is much shallower, cutting the mechanical considerations in half and punishing great early runs with a protracted endgame. It balances out to a nice experience for a few hours, but one that's hard to recommend for anyone who likes to hone their skills with games like this.

Si pescar fuera así en la vida real Animal Crossing sería curioso.
