Hravé, nápadité, milé i poučné.
unlimited definitely beats out super in the graphics department. as always, the sense of humour is on point and the experience is very charming. additionally, it benefits from having an actual narrative with a definitive end goal. while this narrative is simple, it's an effective little piece of motivation for you to complete the numerous puzzles the game throws at you. and that's where our problems begin.
unlimited suffers a lot from mind-numbingly repetitive missions for a game as long as it is. there's a really strong imbalance between the smaller levels you complete for full starites being far too easy and the minor tasks you need to complete for starite shards being far too cryptic.

I thought the main game was mindnumbing, but 100%ing this game drags it down to new leagues I didn't think possible. I got so bored that I restored to just using a guide during my last session to get me over the line and get this thing done.
Even if I hadn't made that choice, good luck getting the 200+ cryptic object shards without a guide, would take you hours to put the pieces together on what to do while slowly going back and forth between the hints and the notepad. If you choose to go with a guide instead, enjoy getting RSI from writing out 300 or so words and quickly dragging and dropping the items just to get it over with. Genuinely can't decide what's worse.
Like I said with the main game, a fascinating concept let down by dull, repetitive and needlessly formulaic execution.

I'm surprised that a series like Scribblenauts, perfect for the DS, arrived on other platforms, Steam included. The definitive platform where you can feel all the potential also thanks to the mod and the possibility to add whatever, especially in a series like this that involves a lot your imagination.
This game is my fucking goat I love it so much. Genuinely one of the most creative games I’ve ever so it’s shame that we haven’t got a new entry in like a decade (no showdown does not count it doesn’t exist). I love playing this game it’s a bit of a comfort game for me even if I’m not really progressing the game proper it’s fun just to hop in and dick around for like a hour or two which is what all good games should strive for. My only real complaint is I feel like some answers to some of the questions are either brain dead easy or very obscure but other than that I love this game especially all of the fan creations through steam workshop I think that alone makes this game worth owning.
I'm not sure if this game really is as awesome as I remember it but for the time I played it I had a lot of fun. I want to believe that it was as versatile as it claims to be with the mechanic of typing in a term and suddenly it becomes a part of the game. I will be playing some other installments in the future so I hope to work those thoughts out with another hands on go.
