Overall good game but so short i can't really say much about it, mostly good ideas but i kind of wish they did more with this, such a cool game that can be finished in just a couple of minutes

Very fun Metroidvania styled game! The sprites are so lovingly crafted and it's a very interesting peak into what culminates as the story for Strange Journey. I will take any Jack Bros content. If you're good at these sorts of games it's quick to get through. The music is fun too, a nice improvement from SJ's music.

Very cute action-platform adventure game (...what is known as "Metroidvania", yep. Term I'm not very fund of) starring everyone's favourite MegaTen iconic demons.
As fun as Hollow Knight for what I can tell tbh.
I wish there were more games like this and Jack Bros. in the MegaTen world.

Atlus really needs to get more random teams to make SMT games. Bit short (as are a lot of Team Ladybug games) but the thing is literally free. I still listen to the music sometimes.

I can definitely tell that the Lady Bug Team are Shmups fans; I can see the Ikaruga influence on this one.
Music slaps so hard, if you are a Megaten fan, you'll enjoy the remixes of classic songs.

I liked this little SMT metroidvania. This companies games all look good, but area layouts are a bit uninspired. Good bosses and gameplay helps though.

ngl I hate how most of the discussion of this game is "I wish it was longer" because arbitrarily bloating it out would make it significantly worse
Primeiramente, não joguei nenhum jogo da franquia shin megami tensei e esse foi meu primeiro título que zerei.
Segundamente, esse foi meu primeiro metroidvania que zerei e gostei, e o jogo é bem fácil, tipo os chefes não senti muita dificuldade em derrotar, porém não por isso que o jogo é ruim, pelo contrário ele é muito bom, a pixel art é linda, a trilha sonora não é memorável, porém é bom e os poderes que você ganha durante o jogo são legais.

Actually just a legit really good metroidvania. And you get to play as Jack Frost, who is a very funny guy. I like Jack Frost.

to be honest i never touched strange journey for more than a half hour, i picked it up during a couple years ago when i was heavily stimming on SMT and beat IV and Apocalypse back to back in the span of 2 weeks but by the time i got to strange journey i was like OOOOOOKAY i need to slow my roll now thats too much rpg-ing in a row
then i saw this existed and went "???" saw it was a metroidvania and figured 'oh its probably going to kick my ass.. ill probably not like it much'
but i downloaded it...
