Jogo muito foda, protagonista muito daora, história muito interessante que revisita o primeiro jogo. Único ponto negativo seria a linearidade em todas as áreas, mas é meio que a proposta desse jogo ser assim mesmo. Resumindo: amei 😍

Heather is a very fun protagonist compared to others in the series, and the game is a satisfying follow-up to Silent Hill. The graphics of the game hold up extremely well to this day. The story can be a little hard to follow if you're not fresh on Silent Hill. The combat and "Otherworld" sections of the game feel like a step up from Silent Hill 2. While I prefer that game's themes and atmosphere, Silent Hill 3's more character-driven story is still memorable.

Yeah this version is a little scuffed. But looking past some issues, this is an absolute classic that I'm glad to have experienced. Loved Heather's attitude as well. It kept me sane throughout the game.

The last orthodox entry in the franchise and the direct sequel to the first "Silent Hill". It is meant to close Alessa's story arc, but the connections with the first game are actually pretty loose and get revealed way late into the game.

It's a decent survival horror but does not improve anything from "Silent Hill 2". The lack of detail in the level design and depth in the story suggests they didn't put as much effort as before. They even recycled part of the town and the whole Brookhaven Hospital map! I understand that keeping the locations unchanged can give continuity, but it seems too much of a coincidence that they recycled places from "Silent Hill 2", which has no connection with the plot, instead of areas directly related to Alessa's story, like Alchemilla Hospital.

The whole first part does not even make sense. We are supposed to be in an ordinary town, but there is always no one around, with all locations looking like they have been abandoned for at least a decade. I know it's because they didn't bother creating character models (there are literarily only 4 people in the whole game), but then they could have thought of an explanation or at least a plot excuse to get around it. That's how the first game was made after all, with technical limitations triggering ideas in the story and settings.

It seems that Team Silent suffered from a severe lack of manpower and resources at the time. Half of the team was working on "The Room", and due to the pressure from Konami the creative direction kept changing and eating up money and time. Still, it's not a decent excuse to release a semi-incomplete game as we are not talking about a "Silent Hill 2" expansion.

A watered down version of the original with subpar graphics and a mixed bag of new voices from the ps2 version.which on its own while not good I can get over it but recasting heather Morris due to legal issues and recasting in my opinion one of the most believable voice casting of a protagonist in gaming to a sub par version is disgusting. If you'd like to get into silent hill and are low on money buy this but I recommend emulating, watching let's play videos, or saving money and buying the older version to get a better impression of sh3

never played the original release, played on Normal for both puzzle and game difficulty. the game simplifies a lot of the Silent Hill formula that the previous games introduce for the better and the worse. if this was your first SH title im sure how fast it goes to horror would probably scare you immensely but doing this twice in a row doesn't do much anymore. the mall sequence in darkness would also be terrifying but I'm very sick of having to guess where to go without a flashlight for a 2nd time in a row. I'd argue this game does a lot to fuck with you just to fuck with you like the lack of lighting and holes in the floors that you can trip in which seems lazy for a game like this. but the game also tones down the complexly designed areas like the hallways no longer having multiple camera angles and 10 different doors that you have to remember leads to where to save you time from opening and closing your map constantly. the story is really nice but is noticeably missing for most of the first half of the game which is an interesting choice but overall i enjoyed it from beginning to end. the game no longer throws you items for you to horde which is interesting because now the basic enemy types feel more bullet spongy than the boss fights. the boss fights themselves feel more short but the bosses do have their quirks to them that will still be a decent first time challenge. as mentioned before the simplification of the formula means you will go through segments faster but there's also more areas to go through as a result. the new game plus content for this game is hands down the best the series has offered up to this point for sure. If the NG+ stuff wasn't in this game, I'd have given it a lower score because the ultra dark areas and hole in the floor aspect is really annoying and feels cheap mixed in with the genuine and challenging aspects of this game. overall this is a pretty solid sequel not only after what 2 brought but also for its connection to the 1st game. as a remaster its odd to see frames drop in the least active areas and having shadow bugs when changing camera angles and turning lights off and on.

Considerably less interesting if you've played SH2 prior, but a very solid entry in the series with it's own couple of uniquely incredible moments. I need to replay this and maybe the score will move up a notch.

Amazing game. I enjoyed Heather as a protagonist much more than Harry, and the line, "they look like monsters to you?" will stick with me forever. No notes!

“They look like monsters to you?” …wait?

Not on the level of Silent Hill 2 for me, but few games are. I think it’s great as it stands, but really feel like I have to play Silent Hill 1 to fully appreciate this.
