Heather is a very fun protagonist compared to others in the series, and the game is a satisfying follow-up to Silent Hill. The graphics of the game hold up extremely well to this day. The story can be a little hard to follow if you're not fresh on Silent Hill. The combat and "Otherworld" sections of the game feel like a step up from Silent Hill 2. While I prefer that game's themes and atmosphere, Silent Hill 3's more character-driven story is still memorable.

Despite the clunky gameplay, it's very satisfying to explore areas and solve puzzles in this game. The story is suspenseful but extremely memorable, and the dialogue and voice acting are fun. The darker story aspects of the game are handled very well and the atmosphere is unique and somberly beautiful.

It took me a minute to get used to the controls, but the gameplay ended up being very smooth and the learning curve is perfect. This game made me want to rip my hair out in a good way. Charming characters and story, cute pixel art, incredible music. Extra content is just the right level of difficulty. The strawberry collectibles are fun to collect.
