Spider-Man: Friend or Foe is a lighthearted, beat-'em-up adventure that sees Spidey teaming up with former foes to fight a common threat. The gameplay is simple and repetitive, focusing on button-mashing combos through linear levels. While the story is humorous and the ability to play as villains is fun, the shallow combat and lack of variety make it a fleeting experience best enjoyed by younger players or die-hard Spider-Man fans.
Expected shovelware. Walked away with a solid 6 hour experience.
Had a lot of fun with this one. Loved not being in a city setting for once. Loved all the partners, a lot of them being friends or foes, like the title!
Game is stupid repetitive though, and only has like 5 enemy types. If it had more variety in the enemies I would have given it a 9/10, but it gets really stale yet still fun to play.
