very cool retro-style cyberpunk FPS

This game defines itself as a "good enough" boomer shooter. I do not like how sometimes the enemies get stunned and lock on 1HP when they should have died, which isn't rewarded by a glory kill but you're meant to slash when you could also just headshot, and it just feels like it simply shouldn't even be there to begin with. The enemies are fine, the map design is good, and the game is fun but it doesn't feel like it works right together, especially with the guns. The dual-wield pistol is my favorite but eventually it just becomes weak, the shotgun is fine but it doesn't work when the game demands you to get headshots, so you need to be far too close for comfort. The uzis, or whatever they're called, have spread and I barely used them because they do. The grenade launcher works fine but for some reason it is way too weak and doesn't feel satisfying at all to use against what is supposed to be lower-tier enemies to mechs. The laser cannon requires you to be too precise and you'll surely miss way more than you want to. The chaingun is really, really strong but it hinders your movement greatly which is far from recommended. The rocket launcher is an absolute sin, requiring mid range or else it kills you if too close or scatters all around when too far. The story is there, the game reminds me much of Ghostrunner, but while it is a fun game I don't recommend it unless you can get it for cheap, since it is a very short game.

Plusy: świetna muzyka, ciekawy styl graficzny rodem z drugiego Quake'a

Nice gun selection, great movement and an honestly interersting story. Seven(the main character0 is pretty cool, has alot of mystery around her, but it left me wishing for more out of it. If they have a sequel i would like them to explore it more. If you like games that are similiar to quake, doom, Metal Hellsinger then I would recommend this game

Movement felt a bit off to me, and the guns were hit or miss. Art design was nothing special and same goes for the soundtrack. If this hit me at a different time i may have still played it to the end but honestly i have way too much in my backlog to play more of this when im very meh on it in the first place.

fantastic arena shooter with satisfying gameplay, soundtrack and visuals but a relatively short campaign and an arsenal that treads over itself into redundancy

really fun, short and sweet shooter that ends right before it could risk dragging on too long. amazing soundtrack too.

I'm not sure how I properly feel but I honestly think this game does rule in a lot of areas and has insanely satisfying gunplay to it. I just think maybe some battles were more or less tedious, and I kinda wish the bosses were more varied, especially the final boss. Having a 1v1 with a human sized boss or two would've worked much better.

A movement shooter that sticks to the basics.
The gunplay is satisfying and the movement, while simple, has it's own style.
Level design is clean, arenas match the gameplay well.
Enemy designs work well by the end of the game, but for a long time they just don't provide enough of a challenge, partially due to the disappointing AI.
Overall it's just a decent game - think of those AA games you'd pick up at a store just because the cover looked cool.
The only major issues are micro stuttering (had to limit the fps to 100 instead of almost twice that to make the drops disappear) and some oddities with the controls - switching weapons is really slow and clunky without using hotkeys for the 7 guns, and sliding and slow motion can't be toggled, which could be pretty uncomfortable for some people considering how much you use them.

Solid, good soundtrack. I don't have an urge to finish it after an hour of play.

first things first, this is a game that I respect; it's crafted by only two people after all and I can see how they created a whole new thing with their inspirations, although unfortunately, I can't say I like the creation that they did. it doesn't play really well (at least not in my hand lol), and it has a lot of ideas that feels like scattered ideas that don't go anywhere. like, the game has a lot of guns, but some don't really fit the gunplay and even holds it back sometimes; the parkour can be a lot of frustrating in some segments and I felt they weren't well designed because of that. it's a shame cause I really like the idea of slowing down time in shooters, but I don't really used it here and I feel they wasted this mechanic because it's only purpose is for combat and even that is just for making it easier. my feelings with this one is basically this, in surface is a pretty good job but it doesn't exceed anything that I had already played.

its not bad but honestly just play fear 1 or ghostrunner instead those are way better

This was a fantastic time, enjoyed the whole thing start to finish with no issues. Music is amazing, level design is great, all the weapons are fun, great visuals too. I liked the story as well, and the voice acting was solid. Honestly an all-around great game, no complaints. I think the length is fine for what they did and I cant wait to see more out of these guys. Definitely one of my top boomer shooters no doubt.

My background:
1. Not a big shooter guy
2. Not a boomer shooter guy
3. Haven't played modern boomer shooter games

Soooo it's good. As you could tell I'm not a shooter guy, especially boomer shooter. While the gameplay sound perfect to me: bunch of crazy guns, super high-speed movement, versatility and so on, it kinda does not click to me. Like I sometime get in the flow and everything, but just deep inside, it doesn't click

What I usually don't like about these games is the world building and the setting. And that's why I got to play this game over others, cuz this one has a really nice world. The art in this game is my favorite part, especially with the retro settings. The art direction is just amazing, and the execution! Oh my, these levels are badass. But.... Only like the 1 chapter. The second chapter is just grey corridors and the last one is better, but still not as great as the first one.

The music is also great, fits the game perfectly.

The gameplay is fun, movement is crunchy and the bosses are fun. Some of the enemies be killing me fast tho, but the adrenaline mechanic is neat

If you are not a boomer shooter guy or just wondering about this game, try it, it's fun and beautiful

Decent boomer shooter with nice movement mechanics. Described by some as a blend of ghostrunner and doom mechanics. Short game completed in around 5 hours, not bad for the price and made by 2 developers. Decent OST and voice acting too.

Great for the first 2 hours (Part 1), but the other like 3-4 ish hours are so boring. Such a slog. The guns get repetitive and the bosses are just blah. A good time waster.

Good soundtrack but everything just felt off to me. Movement was floaty, guns lacked any punch or feedback and visuals were just a bit too muddy in my experience. I can see love has gone into the game, and I know it's an incredibly small team holding the tools, but this just wasn't for me.

Absolutely could have been a great game but there's a good few things holding it back for me. Your guns don't feel like they have much power behind them, the damage they do feels balanced, but enemy feedback is lackluster. On the topic of feedback, it's easy to die in this game if you're not keeping a close eye on your health bar. It's kinda hard to tell when you take damage when your only indication is a hardly noticeable red outline and the grunts Seven makes. The parkour is serviceable, if a little floaty. Really just didn't feel that fun to play overall.

Fantastic atmosphere. The art direction is doing a lot for me here, with it's dense, decaying cities and waves of cyborg cops that you get to Matrix/Ghost in the Shell style kill. Bullet time is a classic mechanic that I adore and it's perfect in this game. Pretty cheap and only about 5 hours, well worth your time!

someone played all the quakelive, titanfall, ut99, cs surf etc stuff and made a game for my tribe thats not quake arena again but will remind most of nudoom just with matrix wallrun stuff. It's just a shame a lot of enemies are quake stormtroopers mostly meant to fit in small arenas with enough verticality which is where the game works. Everything else is about plain arenas where enemy projectiles are too easy to dodge and the combat is mostly strafe to win. Tldr, there is some cool combat in this for fps fans, it's just too little because enemies suck

derrubar governo autoritário etc

lo más salvable es el diseño artístico, el resto es repetitivo e insípido.
se me hizo largo.

SPRAWL is, I guess, a Boomer Shooter.
Aesthetically it's pretty incredible what the one-man art/music team has done. It all comes together to create an excellent dirty Cyberpunk dystopia that you'll be wallrunning and shooting your way through.

The gameplay is very satisfying, but could probably do with a little more variation in encounters and UI.
The way the encounters and AI works, it rarely forces you to engage with the movement mid-fight.
A pretty fun selection of weapons, but few as satisfying as the starting pistols. So when enemies get a bit tanky for them, you just have to start abusing the hilariously overtuned shotgun.

Like most Boomer Shooters, the bosses are the weakest bit. Spending your last moments in a game all about dynamically moving around the environment in a flat room looking up at a big helicopter is a bummer of a finish.

Anyway, I did it in like 3hr30, so it didn't outstay its welcome!

Sprawl is not a bad game but one that never shines. It takes a lot of ideas from other games but often doesn't really know what to do with them so. The wall running is slightly too janky to feel good. Bullet time is way too generous and you will hardly ever run out which leads to an overreliance. A game that does wallrunning and bullettime a lot better is Severed Steel where both elements are integral to the gameplay experience. The weapons feel unbalanced, I never found a reason to use the smgs or minigun and even the railgun turned into an occasional "Well, I guess I could use this now for variety" gun. All I'm gonna say for the story is that you are woken up by an comically evil sounding AI that constantly says things like "Muahahaha I love seeing you kill people, you are so good at killing, yes! bathe in their blood" and wants you to "set it free". Ultimately it's hard to recommend that game. If you want a game set in brown corridors play Incission. If you want to play a game about stylishly jumping around in slow motion, play Severed Steel. If you've already played all of them and need more, you can try this. I guess
