A mediocre PC Engine CD shmup. Fairly simple mechanic-wise with only two weapons. Thankfully gives you a lot of health.

The real stars of the show are obviously the music and the anime aesthetic which both boosts and hinders the game. The 90's anime artstyle is gorgeous, but the cutscenes are often just still images and the game features a lot of in-stage dialogue, some of which isn't skippable.

The main draw here is that the game features a lot of softcore images after every stage, although funnily enough the most risque pictures come after the first level. I can say that I'm pretty happy that I couldn't understand a word of the story because it seems """funny""", but I've had a pretty good time overall since modern emulators have a fast forward feature.

It's a simple game with very few features, but sometimes you don't really need to decide between one of eight weapons and just want to shoot some space stuff to arcadey music

pc98 version runs like a slideshow

Never thought a porn game would be hard.

Overall a pretty easy game, and enjoyable for what it is, but there are so many vertical shooters out there that are leagues better than this

I really have been playing a lot schmups lately. Here's another on in the genre that I kind of just went in blind. I saw anime looking designs and was hooked already. So how's the game? Well if it's decent I guess.

It's your typical vertical scrolling schmup and it works and it's got some challenge here and there but it's got some problems. For one thing there's only like two weapons which is the vulcan and laser. Though there are two items you can get like these two homing machines or some extra missiles to your shot. You also got your life bar and you actually get a lot and you can even get a limtied time shield. I'm surprised how many games have life bars for shooters.

The level design itself is nothing too special and even the presentation is kind of basic but maybe I'm just not good at noticing good graphics. IDK it just didn't impress me. I do like how it tells you the song name at the beginning of each stage. The music is nice but I don't really remember any of it. But at least it's nice to listen to.

I'm not sure if anyone else feels the same way but I feel like too much of this game is just having the same small bullets be put all over the screen like the bosses have it and a lot of the enemies have it and some of the bigger enemies have it. It just feels repetitive. There's also this dash move, at first I thought it was like Gaiares or Thunder Force IV where it controls your speed but no it's just a small dash you can do and its nice. For some reason when playing it made me wonder how a TAS would do this game with using that dash. Would love to see that.

ALRIGHT LETS CUT TO THE CHASE. Yep this game got some questionable cutscenes. Woweeee. So there's a lot of chatting, there's even chatting in the stages. But these cutscenes. Now I don't know Japanese so if anyone knows what's going on please correct me but I swear some non consent happens in these cutscenes. But this game honestly sucks as a eroge game. Like it already didn't make me feel comfortable but they decided to not animate any of them and give about 3-4 images per cutscene and it feels like it takes forever like even if you sped them up it still just keeps going. I don't like it. Also they show titty once after the first boss. I'm convinced they did that hoping you would play to end for more only to learn that's the only time they ever shown full titty. I didn't even know that stuff was allowed on the console.

But yeah overall it's decent, it's playable. It can be tough but it wasn't anything that impressed me personally. Maybe play it but idk there's probably a lot better on the console...why did I play this again? I already forgot. Oh right the anime designs, god I wrote that in the beginning and have already forgot.

playing the pc-98 version. well presented but extremely inconsistent in difficulty - huge spikes and drops everywhere
