I was recently perusing the games that were a part of a number of massive itch.io charity bundles I've purchased and this game caught my eye. From looks alone, it appeared to be something at least somewhat similar to A Short Hike, which was an absolute gem of a game. Unfortunately, Summer Gems isn't much in comparison. The controls are awkward, with just WASD movement and no camera controls and the game isn't much more than clicking on seashells and then choosing emotions to read some canned dialogue. Didn't do much for me, I'll have to continue searching for A Short Hike-likes.
