I liked the story well enough I think? but I did not enjoy the gameplay that much, so I did not like the story enough to continue playing the game past 4-5 chapters.

This game had probably the most interesting story a Tales game has had in YEARS and they just.... threw it away.

I played this game every single day from it's launch until its closure, and I really lament what they did to it. It was a good game... I really liked the mechanics of the battles and the story of the main quest was interesting enough to have me actually anticipating the release of each bit of it every month or so.

If anything, this whole thing should have been a mainline title (without the things that made it a mobile game like arenas and raids and gatcha mechanics, that is).

I adored whatever blorbos I could manage to summon with the gatcha mechanic, and I really liked the special/seasonal units they would release (except apparently they were rehashed from another Tales mobile game? sheesh talk about low-effort).

The game chugged nuts, though. Even on its lowest resolution. I remember getting kicked from raids a lot. The arena was pretty broken, but hey I was kinda proud that I managed to consistently stay in the top 10 (I gotta brag about this somewhere, right? right.)

It would be a miracle if BamCo managed to re-release this game as just the story someday, but.... considering how poorly they manage the Tales series lately it probably won't ever happen.

I'm very sad this game is gone now, it was so much fun. I think I still like Tales of the Rays more than this, but the story and characters for Crestoria are a million times better and I'm very sad I won't see them anymore nor get to experience the end of the story. Honestly, a great game gone too soon.

Actually had a pretty decent story, but killed it by making it a gacha, and a bad one at that. Too much grind, too repetitive, too boring, too annoying, just getting to the next story segment was a chore.

I hate that I have to give this game such a low score because I really did enjoy it but it also frustrated me to no end with how unstable it was and how much bullshit I had to endure at times

And on top of that, while the gameplay could be pretty fun and satisfying at the best of times, it's also incredibly shallow and gets stale really quickly
The story also has some great moments and I like the core cast (though some more than others) but it never reaches its full potential since the updating chapter format messes with its pacing big time and gives the game a formulaic story structure that gets kinda repetitive in the long run

At least the music banged and the fanservice is pretty cool but overall
I'm so glad I didn't waste a cent on this game

Direly cruel gatcha but fucking amazing core cast and fanservice. I want to Vicious. Give Vicious a real game.

Crestoria's story is actually really good. I was only able to tolerate the gameplay for like a month before I got sick of raids, but it had a ton of potential and I was really enjoying it.

It really is a shame it's a gacha, and one with awfully grindy gameplay to boot.

bamco continues to swindle me and i continue to enjoy it

why the fuck did i start playing this again

I can't exactly rate this game any higher than this considering that it is still a buggy mess that often crashes on me, but when it manages to work, it plays just fine. The story has grabbed my attention and the characters are all fascinating, so I'm very curious to see where it goes from here! Hopefully they'll continue to fix the current issues in the game and it remains active for awhile.

I'm a little perplexed as to why they decided to make it turn-based. The funny thing, being a gacha and all? They killed it off.

So the Tales of series is confirmed 100% an action JRPG.

This game had a great story and interesting characters (at least from what I remember). The combat was still like the average boring mobile game though.

The most phenomenal mobile game I have ever played that had an amazing story and was taken from us all too soon.

This mobile gacha game had a better story and soundtrack than the last few mainline Tales games

10 Main Chapters, all Side Stories (Normal).

Amazin characters and story, too bad it goes unfinished and is stuck on mobile phones.

a shame this is a gacha game, quite an interesting story

A nice plot and set of characters limited by it being a generic RPG gacha. How unfortunate.

I cannot believe you mother fuckers shackled this games plot and characters to a shitty gacha game.

+ One of the best story in Tales of Series
+ Fun combat
+ Catchy Music
+ Perfect art

- No pity gacha
- Boring progression
