Curti muito a dlc, e a Serana é uma companion muito daora

The voice acting is 10x better than the base game and it's kind of funny. Also i like werewolf skilltree.

I absolutely love the vampire setting but unfortunately "Dawnguard" doesn't bring anything new to the table except from some few things here and there.

The story is decent and the new characters are pretty cool but what surprised me the most is the boss fights, they are quite challenging and they look awesome.

There are also some interesting powers and magic spells which are very fun to use.

New armor sets and unique weapons that make the gameplay more diverse which I enjoyed.

Having said all that I think Dawnguard is a solid expansion, it offers some interesting things despite its short length and lack of side content.

Final Rating: "Great" ~ 8/10.

It's a decent DLC, with some great new gear and locales. However, the story is where the work was needed. It never felt like there were real stakes (pun unintended) in Dawnguard. There's little tension to the story at times, though there are times when things do ramp up a bit. The ending is just very flat, with no real sense of accomplishment. Hakon, at times, just feels like another enemy to slay. Yeah, he has a few tricks, but honestly, he's just easy to beat, even in Survival mode. I just never believed I was in danger, even with my mishmash of a build. The new areas are incredibly interesting, however, and that's what really stands out to me. The Soul Cairn, in particular, is a neat little area to explore for the couple of hours you'll be there. Not really much to do, but there is a pretty decent side quest reward for those willing to hunt down some items. Fort Dawnguard is also an idyllic setting, with very little danger outside a couple of vampires that spawn in once. It has a neat castle, as well.

Again, great focus on vampires and new locations, but the story just never has some of the high stakes that the main plot does, which brings down the enjoyment some..

Good DLC. Story was interesting. Have only sided with Dawnguard but still enjoyed it. Serena is a good companion.

Difficulty Played: Expert

So... Anyone wanna tell Harkon that the Simpsons already did his plan??

This is actually better than the main game. Vampires may suck in game but you best believe I chose to become one anyways

the pointless walking around made me so bored but at least it was about vampires

a missão secundária é mais interessante do que a plot principal

going to the soul cairn is annoying and I always dread it on replays but overall solid story and good characters
but also wtf the master vampire form is the ugliest fucking thing I've seen in a while

This DLC might not take you to a vast open world, but what it WILL do is take you to so many interesting places, with new and interesting characters, that to this day playing through this DLC is one of my favorite parts of Skyrim.

Also, the gameplay additions of being a vampire is incredible. Love this DLC so, so much.

Characters I care about and choices that change your experience of the game forever, incredible

Being a vampire is pretty cool and I like the story, but it doesn't offer as much as Dragonborn did.

I loved the new locations and quests added further expanding the skyrim lore and theories around the dwarves and the falmer. The ability to become a vampire lord combined with all the new monsters and characters introduced had me glued to the screen.

your ass is not giving me vampirism im turning werewolf to get immunity every time

Serana my beloved. The vampire lord form blows chunks.

Not quite one of the DLCs that come with a whole new map, but there are a couple bonus zones that are, you know, mildly interesting. Vampires are cool, although I once again feel that the main thing youre paying for is cool powers and features and not riveting content.

Me point at my screen like how Squidward was pointing at Spongbob before having a fork stuck in his throat: Laura Bailey woman! Laura Bailey woman!

I think this is a pretty fun DLC. I like the expanded story on both vampire and vampire hunters, and really enjoyed the new locations added. The new combat situations added in this story are great, especially the final confrontation.

in 2012 all the women were horny for edward from twilight, while all the men were horny for serana from skyrim, and i was just obsessed with perfect my nacho cheese recipe

Making a separate piece for this dlc because I think it's interesting enough to talk about, a big issue for me in skyrim is I felt a lack of characters its way too dragonborn focused for my liking of what I enjoy in a games writing, but serana is a very fun character who goes through an actual character arc, she's not the greatest character of all time but she adds life into an otherwise kind of drab game character wise, I do enjoy the personalities of the dawnguard as well and the dlc does take you to fun and unique locations, despite it still being on the Skyrim world map.

antagonists plan is stupid and while its cool you can join him it feels like a fake option compared to the dawn guard also being a vampire in any elder scroll game kind of sucks no matter what but hey more gameplay features.

I do like how your choices do determine whether serana cures herself of vampirism or not, even though I chose not to so I can have vampire werewolf combo, I can easily see why a player would, and more choices that actually mean things in these games would be nice.

but a 10/10 for another wood elf companion that i wont use because serana basically the best character.

Aureil's Bow is my favorite weapon in any Elder Scrolls game.
Turning the sun to a bloodmoon was probably one of the best gaming moments for me.
