Turok: Evolution attempts to modernize the classic dinosaur-hunting franchise, offering a mix of first-person shooting, stealth, and occasional platforming sections. While the concept of blasting through lush jungles filled with prehistoric beasts holds appeal, the execution is often uneven. The controls can feel stiff, the level design is inconsistent, and the infamous flying sections are frustrating. Despite these flaws, there's a certain visceral charm to Turok: Evolution, particularly in its diverse weaponry and its satisfyingly gory combat.
this game is the epitome example of a game that i never beat or accomplished anything in but played a lot when i was younger
so much fucking time was spent replaying the first level over and over again, usually with big head mode enabled, or in the zoo level just shooting all the dinosaurs and animals in the enclosures
and thats the only thing i ever did and i did it so fucking much
no idea what the story is how the gameplay actually is, just the zoo level, big head mode, first level
good game

This is the game that I stopped like being a Turok fan, as a teen, I really liked the game, but in retrospective, the game is very unfair at times, weird level design choices and the AI knows where you are even you're not spotted yet, especially when they sit behind a automatic weapon thing, they destroys you in mere seconds... also the game was prone to crashing, especially the GameCube version, who the heck knows why. Only Acclaim Entertainment knows.
