Umihara Kawase Shun is the continuation to the adventures of the titular protagonist, once again she is on a quest to navigate abstract geometry with the aid of her elastic fishing line and abduct every enemy into her pink backpack because sushi ingredients don't have any rights.
I found Umihara Kawase Shun much easier to start with than its predecessor, the physics feel more forgiving, even if the line is slightly shorter this time around, and the enemies don't respawn nearly as frequently. Also, there are continues now which you can get after reaching certain milestones, but there is no shortage of insane stages and exits for the people who really like this series and its difficulty either.
The port is honestly kinda barren, just like the previous game, but it works fine and runs on a toaster which is what matters the most to me.
At the end of the day, I think Umihara Kawase Shun is a lot of fun and if I can get to at least one ending then anyone can so I have no problems recommending it.
