It's not very good.

It's a classic RE clone solely focused on puzzles that has puzzles on the level of those games, so get X Item to Y Place only and the items aren't displayed in the enviroment and youneed to interact with them to know if anything is there, so have fun there.

Guess it's a little amusing.

Not going to pretend this is a good game, but it is charming.

A comedic take on the the gameplay framework established by Alone in the Dark and Resident Evil. Welcome House throws gags at your player character instead of jump scares or monsters. I have seen the term "Survival Comedy" get attached to this game and I think it's a fitting description.

I would honestly love to see Welcome House be remade and riff on the grand remake era of older horror games.

the main climax of this game is when you use a massive number of food items painstakingly collected through the whole game in order to cook a casserole for a dog (the dog barks at you and makes you step on a rake if you don't cook it the casserole)

that's what type of game "welcome house" is
