clears xenoshit, only good game in the xenoshart series, and clears every shitblade game

(Review of Xenocomi 1-5 specifically)

Wholesome comedic fluff that really isn't anything special, but it was cleverly structured, tons of fun, and did elevate my love and appreciation for the Xenosaga cast quite a bit, especially in regards to many of the ensemble dynamics between its characters.

xenosaga freaks? more like xenosaga PEAKS. this is the actual peak of xenosaga, not even xenosaga 3 comes close to the highs that freaks hits. zero contest.

i don't speak japanese so idk what to say other than the fact that it is a xenosaga game

Bwuh... bunny get a carrot? - that is what the bunny on the cover is saying. I Think .

finally a game made by xenosaga freaks for xenosaga freaks. This is basically a fan/demo disc containing various bits for xenosaga fans to enjoy. The first thing available is XenoComi, which is a short little adventure game/visual novel type beat. It's a parody game where you basically watch an incident where the Durandal gets hacked and KOS-MOS gets turned into a rampaging catgirl from the perspectives of each of the main party members. Since it has been a while since I have played the xenosaga trilogy it was actually quite fun to revisit the cast, especially since this all takes place before xenosaga 2 messes everything up. Since it do be a parody game, characters do be a bit exaggerated for the funny, and the game randomly quizzes you on xenosaga lore at various points in each story. It's all light dumb fun, though it can get a bit repetitive watching the same events happen 7 times to see the full story. The disc also includes Xenopittan, a variation of Mojipittan that has special xenosaga-themed levels and dictionaries. I think that the fact that there's so much xenosaga lore BS that they made a whole ass mojipittan game out of it is really funny ngl. Lastly there's a demo for xenosaga 2 (lame) and a decently fleshed out version of the in-game encyclopedia to be used as reference whether for the Xenocomi quizzes or for Xenopittan. Xenosaga Freaks is certainly not mind blowing, but it is some fun fanservice made to tide fans over before xenosaga 2 just absolutely killed all the momentum the series had.
