My single most played game of all time

Extremely relaxing and fun. Currently playing it on and off.

Very fun, took me a long time to get bored of it, but revisiting it is still fun and exciting now. Feels like a whole game (unlike ACNH -_-)

It's got almost everything I could ever want from an Animal Crossing, and basically took over my life when I was playing it. Unfortunately did fall into the problem I have with all AC games, where after I stop playing for more than a week the loop totally breaks for me and I feel too guilty to look at my town again so I have to just stop playing the game altogether.

i got into it later than others, but still. relaxing, charming game :) shelved due to new horizons.

Honestly tortimers island was so fun, I played it so much with my friends. The mini games are so fun.

Would be 5 stars if it didn't have deteriorating grass.

shouldve hopped on the bandwagon sooner than 2017

is it that hard to make a game better than this on switch tho

i logged an embarassing amount of time into this one, i remember my boyfriend (now my fiance) and i going on dates in the museum and making fun of villagers we didnt like at 3 am, great memories i’ll always hold onto. anyway i accidentally deleted Punchy from my town while time travelling and it made me so upset i threw up

I spent a stupid amount of time in this game.

This might be the game I've put the most hours in. For a long time, I considered it my favorite game of all time. I could pick it up at any time, see my girl Sprinkle, hang out with Mitzi, and feel a little better about myself. I can play with minigames with my friends on the island, get my fortune told, or go clubbing! I still love everything about this game, and I always will. A personal favorite.

Most features of an animal crossing when it released, but at the expense of the charm in writing that made the older ones that much more special. Hopefully when i get my hands on new horizons it will solve that issue.

getting this after the mess that was city folk was sooo fucking delicious

This game started the fall of my sleep schedule and wouldnt be the same without it

i cried when i got this and it really met up to the hype

I don't know how I feel about putting games like this on here given that they literally never end, you can't really finish them

It's comfy, though. I loved playing it when I was alone in my college dorm.

While this game isn't as in-depth as New Horizons, it still provides the same experience, full of so much color and personality that could resonate with any one person who plays it. The plot of the player being the Mayor gives so much freedom for the player to truly turn their town into their own thing, and the amount of options that come with housing, clothing, and fellow villagers makes this game addicting, and a warm experience.
Though, the strongest aspect of this game, is the soundtrack, as the use of different instruments and rhythms gives it such an incredible, calming sound. This stands as the first Animal Crossing game I played, and shall stand as my favorite.

rocks were obnoxious to plan around, but late-night grinding on tortimer island was a blast

This game is objectively worse than NH but that is not saying much...........

so comfy i wish i could get into it more but ACNH makes it hard to go back. iconic tho
