Playing the game is kinda dull and boring. But watching those cutscenes, oh boy! The pure stupidity and extreme levels of this game are unrivaled. I loved it!

Bought a ps3 to play this game then realised it was backwards compat on xbox

Worth it though it;'s so fucking cool
man too angry to die

I love this game so much I'm not even bothered that the game's actual ending was a DLC. In fact, it was worth the money!

Truly the Gurren Lagann of videogames

Ignoring the scummy tactic of the finale locked behind a paywall, once you have the full package Asura's Wrath is a mediocre character-action game that's more a 3D beat-em-up than a Bayonetta but the story and the spectacle will keep you hanging on every step.

Despite being more watching than playing, the pure spectacle of this game is undeniable.

An absolute rush.
I don't care if you don't like QTEs.
Only flaw is DLC not being part of the main game, and a lot of the fighting sections being busy work.

Doesn't have the greatest gameplay, but literally everything else is so fucking cool, you literally start the game by punching a huge ass fucking fat guys FINGER AND MAKING HIM EXPLODE

This happened to me at a bar once

A painfully mediocre storyline packaged along flashy, yet empty combat.

After Skyrim I needed some crazy to clear my head. It was a fun short adventure. Took me less then 1 day to finish it. I loved it. The story is crazy and is a bit hard to follow at first but you quickly get into it. The graphics are nice (though there is an occasional frame rate issue), the music is fantastic an to game play is fun enough. Good experience over all, short as it may be.

Asura's Wrath is batshit insane and that's the reason why it rules.

This game was extremely entertaining until it ends and basically tells you to buy DLC to see the full ending. Capcom was at their peak back then, when it came to that bullshit.

Coolest PS3 era game of all time with the most stellar cutscenes that's sadly not perfect due to the true ending of the game being locked behind a paywall

The only downside of this game is the true ending blocked by a DLC, but even so, it's fcking dope

What if we made a game into a playable anime
Pretty epic though, not gonna lie

I like narrative heavy games but this has far too little gameplay

Asura's Wrath is an extremely cool game, serving up a Dragon's Lair-esque representation of the battle shonen genre, but much like the anime it tries to replicate, there are dud episodes throughout. Hell, there's even a bath house episode. But damn dude when the game is good the game is GOOD. This game comprises some of the best cutscenes of its entire generation. And don't miss that DLC either! That final episode of the DLC is so so good. Wish CyberConnect2 went on to make more like this.

This is basically an anime movie that you get to play. Yeah, it is a gigantic QTE fest, but the (miniscule) gameplay besides that is actually really involving and I always couldn't help but love this game for going berserk like it does with absolutely zero limits and boundary as well as a complete disregard for human safety.

That's how far they slam the accelerator pedal through the floor and into the ground itself.

It would make the Fast & Furious Movies blush.

... honestly this game is so fucking insane.

I love it.

Also there are some great references in it too.

They gotta make this game an anime

I do be waking up like this sometimes

Awesome music and visuals, mediocre combat, but it's ok since they was going for an interactive movie kind of thing. Hard to believe Hideki Kamiya wasn't involved with this game at all, given how many Space Harrier sections there are.
