Parte 1 — Los 70: Los Orígenes

Juego 5: Boot Hill (1977)

Tosquísimo. Poco más que una copia del Pong!, aunque muy interesante visualmente. ¡Profundidad!, fingida, pero profundidad al fin y al cabo.

Respectable for being one of the earliest shooting games, but like Pong and Breakout, suffers from being too simplistic and lacking in content.

For such an early entry in arcade history, Boot Hill is superb in presentation. With engaging "anti-Pong" gameplay, early uses of resource management and race-against-the-clock gameplay, this one-to-two player shootout is absolutely worth a play or two, even if a shocking lack of home ports make it a rarer find.

Inverse pong, and one of the earliest shoot-em-ups. Awesome backdrop "technology" that really adds to the experience.

About as fun as Gun Fight with some minor improvements.

The fact that one of the best games of 1977 is basically a Pong inversion with a pretty coat of paint should give you a pretty good idea of where video games were at.
