I know this sounds crazy, but I've been playing this for six years and it still shreds my nerves. Dropshot, lob, topspin, slice, volley, serve, and movement differ wildly from character to character, with some having special techniques, so mastering them is a challenge and a blast. We're still finding new things out about the game, too, especially in the presentation, like tiny lizards scurrying in the backgrounds and rare barks spilling from the characters when they exert themselves. The single player game is limited, but the multiplayer mode is endlessly fun. This whimsical game feels so much better in your hands than the serious tennis games, like topspin, or world tour, which take themselves too seriously, look ugly, and feel clunky (don't get me wrong. I still played the hell out of some of them!) Everybody's tennis is a real joy to play, and it captures the true feeling of competing at and enjoying tennis in a way that the serious games don't (this is coming from a tennis club player). Cannot recommend it enough.
A solid arcade tennis game. Movement feels really good, and a clever timing system gives you good feedback while you're playing. There are a lot of different courts, but character design is a bit bland and even questionable at times. While the game can be fun for a while, it's lacking any interesting single player modes beyond the standard tennis fare.

An extremely solid and fun tennis game with unique yet simple character designs and interesting mechanics for a relatively normal tennis game. The more you play through the game, the more difficult it becomes as you go against each new character. Unlike its sequel, this game requires you to be extra precise with your shots and you need to have really good timing as you go against later characters in the intermediate and especially expert column.
My only main issue with the game is the special conditions that some of these unlockables have, especially the fixed camera where even if your character is on the other side, the camera doesn't change and you're forced to play like that. Another issue i have which is mainly a skill issue on my part honestly is some of these characters are absolutely bulls*it (BIG CHIEF I HATE YOU SO MUUUUUUUUCH)
This game is really good and i played it alot during my childhood, its good to know that its still just as fun as before if not even better since im now much better at the game than i was at 9 years old.
