This game is a lot of fun! The different boat designs and names are great and the settings has you wondering what exactly happened to cause what appears to be the apocalypse.

One of the first games I ever played, still one of my favorite racers.

This game looked so cool man

I always loved these over-the-top arcade racers that are designed to feel like disney rides. Total blast. I wish they'd make a comeback. Switch would be perfect.

The multiplayer speed is completely nerfed on N64

HYDRO CODONE- I MEAN THUNDER

I have a phobia of giant closeups of eyeballs. In one of these tracks, an enormous eyeball emerges from the water to act as a three-way fork: either go on either side of the eye, or ramp it. My older brother had to pause the game and go to bed upon seeing the giant eyeball. It is the closest I have ever got to giving someone one of my mental illnesses.

THE FUCKING NOSTALGIA FOR THIS GAME HITS LKE TRUCK

Not the best racer out there, but still a lot of fun.

fun tracks and good-feeling water collisions. hard to put its strengths into words; it just feels nice to play

I loved playing this on Dreamcast a whole bunch but also, I swear to god I played this at an arcade once where you had to actually use a boat as a controller and it would shake around and stuff! Did I hallucinate this!? Was this a different game!? Help!

The arcade set up always looked very attractive

Cool idea on paper. Not as cool as Mario kart

If I'm in an arcade, and I see that they have one of these machines, I'm heading straight towards it and playing for the next hour.

I played this in an arcade in like 2003 or something and it was one of the sickest experiences I've ever had.

HYDRO THUNDERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

One of the best arcade racers. Classic stuff.

I was expecting this game to blow my mind the way some old cunts hype it up but its just okay. Hard to be satisfied with its water physics knowing Waverace came out years after.

An incredibly fun arcade boat racer. Still wish the franchise existed to this day.
