I fucking hate Nekopara so god damn much. Every Nekopara is just "oh my god big brother your massive cock is in the catgirl" and it's just terrible. Why anyone likes this franchise is beyond me. I actually bought this one and vol 1 after I first played DDLC because I figured "well I liked that game so I'll like this one also."

The personalities of all the girls is really cute to see. I genuinely really enjoyed watching them fuck about doing silly things like cats would. Although the massive breasts and softcore porn don't do this game any favors.

This is easily the best nekopara, play it and please forget this game existed.

haha hihi le funny ironic review. It is a celebration and fetishization of the mundane, both in narrative and in execution. I do not have the context of knowing how this relates to slice-of-life anime, but this is even more undemanding. The truly normal passages are used for inconsequential bickering of one-dimensional characters pressed into a semi-human form, while anything slightly deviating from the norm is being magnified into a grand spectacle - something falling down, burning your mouth, peeling potatoes.

Not to be ignored are the tropes commonplace in these kind of games. The thorough examination of bust sizes is a continuing storyline which is an obsession of Japanese authors. Nevermind the blank slate protagonist, the interesting thing is the power dynamic. As cats are naturally portrayed as individual in this game, they're still only free under the supervision of the male character, both as a care provider and later employer.

Most importantly, this game isn't even so bad that it's funny, it's just bad - so if you find someone 'ironically' buying this or other games in the series and 'ironically' rating it highly, you can be sure they're either enjoying it unironically (with all the details that it entails) or it's their first try at being ironic at anything.
