Rundenstrategie auf Top-Niveau, wie von der XCOM-Serie gewohnt. Das neue Guerilla-Setting bringt frischen Wind in die Reihe. Nur die Zufalls-Missionen werden nach hinten hinaus etwas langatmig.

I've tried for 22 hours (and started 3 different save files) of gameplay time to get into this game, but something just keeps me from seeing it all the way through, which is a bummer for me as I really enjoyed XCom EU/EW.

Truly the best way for avid Xcom fans and tactical turn based fans to experience xcom2. Being able to truly challenge the player with all kinds of overworld decisions that create stress and tension all the way down to every combat action deciding life or death for your team. This is just shy of the perfection of enemy within but non the less one of the best games of all time.

XCOM but bigger better and stronger.

Mod the game if you want to experience some truly crazy experiences.

Argh! I was really enjoying the tactical part of this game! But then I messed up and lost quite a few critical team members. 😭 I had this same problem with Dungeon Encounters, so I guess it was just a bad week for gaming. I want to play this again. I'm not sure if I'll continue on or start over. While I really enjoy the tactical side of things, I don't like the overworld decision making and strategizing. It seems like everything is so far away and is dangerous, so it's like spending effort to make your life easier. Meh, just put me on a map with my alien foes please. This is an excellent game. I'm just trash at it.

A great and challenging game! Having all of the DLC content running at once made it hard to complete, so I would definitely recommend limiting the DLCs to the ones you want to focus on as you play.

An above average strategy game marred by a lot of technical errors and sometimes just downright bad luck that can cause an entire run to be lost. I suppose that's part of why people like it.

I might go back to finish this but the game becomes a real slog and I feel like they haven't made any significant improvements to the fact that the game just feels "unfair". I know it's not and it's just my confirmation bias coming into play, but it doesn't feel good to play. Maybe that's the point, but it saps a ton of my enjoyment and consistently kills any desire I have to proceed. That is the biggest reason I stopped playing and might go back, but not anytime soon.

I have it shelved as it's game with a lot of DLC's and is pretty huge, so I'll play it when I have the time, for now controls on console are weeeird but not horrible, still enjoyable.
