Horror of the "wtf is even going on" kind. Visuals with just enough sense to feel an artistic vision rather than just pure randomness. Needles falling from the sky, bugs with human faces, innards zones. There's a bit of humor in the absurdity too, getting stomped by giant feet in one stage for instance.
There's some sort of plot between levels I assume, but it's all in Japanese until the final level so I can't make sense of it. Rating the visuals alone, this would be 5/5, but the mechanics leave things to be desired.
I can praise this game for being unique mechanically, not just visually. People call this a 1st person pinball game. There are flippers, but in practice since you can move left to right (and up to down) it feels more like Breakout to me. Some levels simply have reaching the end of the stage as a goal, some have defeating a boss as a goal. It doesn't really work that badly most of the time, but such a distinct control style is difficult to get used to in the game's short timespan. You do get infinite continues, so just witnessing the game without mastering isn't a hard goal. I recommend giving this game a try at least, only took me like an hour to beat.
Good soundtrack too

everybody wanna be paranoiascape. y'all are just to scared to admit it

Typically I seek out bizarre games, it's something I actively enjoy, to the point that if a game feels too measured and adherent to established canons that's almost a downside for me. This is all to contextualize the fact that I think that Screaming Mad George's ParanoiaScape might be the first game that is just way too much for me in that regard. It's a constant deluge of surreal horror imagery ("anti-realistic", George calls it) that just gets to me in a way I can't explain. It feels like I just got cursed by playing it, like it's an infohazard. It's not just lolrandom shit thrown at the wall, I can clearly tell that there is a successful artistic intent behind it but I cannot for the life of me even begin to guess what it might be other than the fact that it makes me feel very uncomfortable.

No score. I don't know how to rate this.

This is a creepypasta game from before creepypastas even existed.

I still hate pinball but holy SHIT

Clunky but awesome. One of a kind.

Schizo pinball, kinda frustrating but it's interesting.

pinball just like gramma used to make

weird to control ngl and its either way too easy or way too hard depending on the settings you choose, there isn't really any good difficulty balance. but godDAMN those visuals are so bizarre that it makes it worth at least looking at. Pretty inessential though, I wouldn't reccomend playing it unless you distinctly want something so downright bizarre to look at. more of a strange art piece than remarkable accomplishment in game design. Can't say I've played any pinball games where you can freely move the flippers though I guess
