i finally finished this long ass game and 100%'d it which took WAY too long and i appreciate galaxy 2's camera and green stars now more but this game will always be better and one of the best of its kind.

the culmination of 30 years of some of the most experienced game developers in the world. the degree to watch Mario has always and forever blown all other 3d platformers out of the water is insane. Nintendo truly just has the sauce with him

This game is all spectacle. Every jump is the same. The platforming is simple, dull, and repetetive. Mario's moveset, restricted even more now than Sunshine, is forced to rely on the spin to make most jumps, which cuts all momentum and slows the pace of the game down to a crawl. The soundtrack is incredible, however, and I don't think very many Mario games have even come close to this game's soundtrack.
Played galaxy 2 before this one as a kid. I had no idea what I was missing. Peak gaming and that Rosalina story is crazy for a Mario game.

they really hit the ball out of the park with so many mario games released on the Wii. i was OBSSESSED with Galaxy as a kid, despite boiling with anger every time i died.
Played when it came out and it's up there in the 3D Mario's. I like when Mario games have a theme to them and space works so well. Gameplay and Music go crazy
The first time i played this i realized that Super Mario has reached a new peak, and since then the franchise was unable to repeat that.

I still hate this mission-based structure but hey, at least it's the first 3D mario that's playable. Also the motion controls are way fun to play, even when using emulation.

I say Galaxy 1 is bit overrated I don't think is 5 stars some levels get very gimmicky, and have poor used of power ups aside the bee suit, Tough this does have some of the best bosses and when a Galaxy is good its really good

Como eu não tenho Wii, tive que fazer uma gambiarra histórica para poder jogar essa relíquia.
A premissa do jogo é igual a maioria dos jogos da franquia do Mario: Resgatar a Princesa Peach do foderoso Bowser (dragão armadurado).
Dessa vez o Bowser foi além e quer criar uma nova galáxia só pra ele reinar, ao lado da Peach é claro.
O jogo apresenta várias galáxias diferentes, todas elas muito bem feitinhas e criativas. É apresentado novas mecânicas e novos Power-ups para a franquia.
No geral, recomendo a todos que gostam de jogos plataforma.

I used to play this game every Friday night at my dad's house, and those are some very happy memories. This game means a lot to me and it's so good that I didn't mind playing it twice with each character. I think this game has a lot over its sequel, even if I haven't finished it completely.
MY CHILDHOODDD 😭🙌 played this on the wii and on my switch and i still love it. special place in my heart.
