I hate the abyss

No me lo he acabao, pero puedo confirmar que es de los mejores TLoZ de la franquicia. Midna es un cachondeo, es muy bonito y dramático, las batallas son chulísimas, los escenarios dan un cague que flipas, y me haría el templo del volcán otras doscientas veces QUE CHULO. El detalle de cuando peleas contra las bestias aladas del crepúsculo y cada vez que les pegas suena una nota musical? Me flipa. Es un juego con un trabajazo y merece una buena nota. Recuerdo que la primera vez que lo jugué fue en la wii y no menteraba de los controles, me frustré y dije que no lo quería volver a jugar. Sin embargo, en el emulador del pc este año lo volví a intentar, y nada mal nenas.
Siempre será, es y ha sido el mejor de todos los Zelda. La música, ambientación, paleta de colores, diseño de personajes, enemigos, escenarios... Es una putísima obra de arte.

The best Zelda experience I've ever had. Expansive world, interesting characters, amazing storyline, YOU CAN BECOME A WOLF!! Even now I still feel that childlike wonder every time i boot it up.

I don't know if this was the right game at the wrong time or the wrong game at the wrong time but I just didn't vibe with this game as a kid.
I say "wrong time" because it came out at a point where I was going through stuff that basically assured I wouldn't like it, and to this day I've always been unsure if I genuinely didn't like the game that much or if it was only specifically a matter of the times. It's something I think about basically whenever this game comes up.
One day I'll give it another honest try, I'm sure 18 years makes a bit of a difference.

Playing this version of the game makes it impossible to play any other version because this one is mirrored in order to make Link right-handed. Other than that, fantastic Zelda game. Just don't call it your favorite or else you will receive allegations.
The game gets a 4 but Midna gets a 5
Beat the HD version on Wii U
The one reason I NEEDED a Nintendo Wii back then. But just like I elaborated in the GameCube version, my admiration for this entry has declined over the years.
As a Zelda title, is more straight foward to the main progression and is too narrative oriented, which is a downside on my book. The implementation of the wiimote controls, while functional and responsive, is redundant: Having to shake the controller everytime I need to use the sword in this long game only makes the task more annoying than immersive. I liked the shooting mechanics, tho. In any case, this game should have given the option to use a GameCube controller like many other games on the Wii did.
That said, if you own a Wii, you have to play this game at least once in your life.

Even the 'soulless' Zelda is fuckin' incredible. Best dungeons in the 3D series, an excellent main story. Simple, but the character of Midna and the villain in Zant are so fantastic. Raw atmosphere, excellent gameplay. You can't ask for a better game. The opening hours are sluggish, but when you're in the meat of the game, it's peak Zelda.

El juego de Zelda más conservador y menos inspirado de toda la saga. En esta rejugada confirmo que me cuesta entender por qué es tan elogiado.
Nintendo perfectamente hubiese podido colocarle Ocarina of Time 2 y justificarlo a través de la historia, que hubiese sido un nombre/apodo más adecuado.
Porque el juego es eso, un Ocarina of Time más pulido, copiando de allí, pegando acá. Pero eso no es ningún logro.
Al menos Ocarina tenía más espíritu.

La primera parte del juego es un poco cansado, aunque la historia llama mucho la atención. Esa es la mayor crítica que le tengo a este Zelda. Cada vez que lo vuelvo a jugar, lo encuentro más divertido. Tiene una gran estética y funciona lo lúgubre de este mundo.
Los dungeons son de los mejores en la serie y antes de Tears of Kingdom, Twilight tenía uno de los mejores finales. Lo que único que me dejó a desear, es que el soundtrack fuera ya orquestado, en lugar de usar Midi. Y aunque no es uno de mis Zeldas favoritos, sigue siendo un juego increíble que estoy dispuesto a repasar cualquier día.
