You either are fully locked into this game or hate this game and refuse to play it. I unfortunately played for so long I cannot escape.

so many good memories made here, this game jumpstarted my love for raiding in general, however i cannot possibly rate it higher because of the awful decisions made to curb ones progress with sunsetting, amongst other horrible monetizing decisions

Destiny 1 was one of my favorite looter shooters on the market so its really sad to see how far this series has strayed from that game into corporate microtransaction slop hopefully theres a change in leadership soon as i dont think the current ceo or head devs want to do anything that doesnt bring in that microtransaction money

Fucking love Destiny, but god damn everything is the fucking same. Missions, quests, story, guns, armor, etc. I love the game, but I hate the "blandness".
The problem of MMOs is how insanely boring they are at the beggining and how they try to harvest the promise of cool things in the long run.
This one was marketed as "not boring at the start" to me and didn't get good in 4+ hours of play.
Dude Crosscode demonstrated a possibility on a solo game, you could, like, try to make something like that.
But noooo 3D enviorments, industry standards, absolute cheap excuses for being the most boring bitches on earth.
I'm just waiting until the fucking videogame industry colapses once and for all and the only survivors are the ones who were already in the depths of economical hell, aka indie people who won't see their revenues changed at all.

Destiny 2 was, among other things, my pandemic hobby. I got really into it. I'm a completionist but Destiny is not a game that wishes to be completed. Therefore I had to retire. But I'll always appreciate the enjoyment it gave me and the friends I made while playing.
