This game is typical Persona. Great combat, great team dynamics, great soundtrack and unique social sim/dungeon crawling gameplay. However what truly sets this game apart from most video games that prioritize their stories is the climax. From 12/31 till the final credits, everything is meshing together to make an unforgettable experience that stands as one of the greatest finales to a video game. Good Pokemon, best art style/graphics, best soundtrack and somehow manages to have a well written narrative, which is saying a lot for Pokemon. A game about children using magical creatures to engage in government sponsored dogfights manages to convey a powerful message about differing opinions, views on life and optimism for the future.

Story Mid. Even though the gameplay was way better than Awakening and better than Three Houses, by the final chapter and end credits I was significantly more invested in pushing through and keeping my team alive till their game’s conclusions
