It is an F1 game what can you expect.
Played through “Braking Point.” Enjoyed the story as much as in the last installment. The cars have a nice arcade-y feel. I miss the rewind feature when playing other driving games. That said, I think the difficulty could be tuned better; it should be impossible to beat Verstappen even on the easier difficulties. Would root for Konnersport in real F1!
Looking back in 2024, the game's handling model means it's a very easy game to pick up and play, which I do regularly. It's easy to pick up and do a 35% race, either F1 or F2, and across all the different tracks, the AI proves to be really competent, at least for me. At it's weakest I can put it up to 105 and it provides a very good challenge around Monaco, though in a place like Bahrain I have to put it down to 95, so the consistency can be improved going forward (or I just need to git gud lol).
