Haven't played FES or Portable so I can't speak for FemC or Episode Aigis but for what this game is, a remake of the original Persona 3, I'm so happy to have played it. The visuals are gorgeous, the voice cast are some of the best in any JRPG and the music's been redone very tastefully both on the sound and vocal front. Special mention to the lighting, which I noticed easily in places like Tartarus and Gekkoukan. I'm especially a fan of the new character portraits, and the QoL changes brought over from Persona 5 (fast travel, night exploration, revamped battle controls etc).

Oh yeah and the ending made me cry badly. That cements this game as a classic.

The best 2D Mario game in over 30 years, and one that just about makes the slogs that are the NSMB games worth it. It's so inventive and such a fresh lick of paint that it's hauled itself into GOTY contention on pure merit.
