what even was this game i forgot this existed..

I'm not sure why they made the game so creepy, it's actually a touching story. In fact the more I think about it, the more frustrated I get.

The horror genre has NOTHING to do with the story they're trying to tell. And the story they're trying to tell has NOTHING to do with your character or her absence. It's quite baffling.

They basically sabotage their own game by trying to subvert the horror/mystery genre, and as a player you're constantly distracted from the story of Sam and her parents, by trying to figure out a twist or source of evil that doesn't exist. Frustrating.

So personal and lived in. An interactive diary.

they have never and will never make me hate you

my recommended play order is bioshock 1, challenge room dlcs, bioshock 2, minervas den dlc, gone home, soma, the magic circle and finally Tacoma by fullbright (same studio that did gone home). You can, nay, must, skip bioshock infinite. only by playing these exact games in this exact order will you Understand exactly what this game did. this game did SO MUCH

Fun to explore and learn about the story of this beleaguered youth, and has some interesting atmospheric vibes

tried out before i was into games on a laptop that got overwhelmed launching it at a time when i was on the verge of autistic burnout, so i can't remember anything. will try it back tho!

I loved this game it might not be for all. but I enjoyed it simple game cute story.

mid ending

I finally took the time to play this classic narrative walking simulator.
I loved the story (which, for me, is the most important part in this game genre), the voice actors and the sound environment.
Technical and gameplay aspects are decent for a 2013 game.
