in a way this is everything bad about the kind of "cinematic" game design that was everywhere in 2018; most of the gameplay is press the button onscreen and you get to watch this pretty boring movie we made. Extremely linear and basic. I think this had a ton of potential though, a co-op prison break game where one of you turns out to be an undercover cop is a creative idea, and the last act of this game was completely wild and very fun to play through. Some of the use of splitscreen was also great, like the chase scene where you can see what the hitman is doing, or the way the game will let one player do stupid bullshit in the background while story cutscenes are happening. I won't lie I had a great time playing it with a friend, but that happens even in the shittest of co-op games. Idk, I'm glad I bought and played this but I'm also glad I bought it at a heavy discount, it was that kind of game. And I'm also glad we killed the cop at the end.
