the best metroidvania yeah ik i’m not saying anything original that’s not something i do all that often

Paramızı harcayabileceğimiz daha çok yer olmalıydı bence, shoplar çok çabuk bitti.

I am not a fan of this genre, but I am giving it another fair shot. I decided to start with Hollow Knight and while it did not impact me the way a lot of others may have felt, it was still a very good time.

Gameplay: The gameplay was simply fantastic. Gaining full mastery of the character felt amazing. Most of the bosses were really fun to fight, and darting around the map was satisfying (to a certain extent). This game is how I want platformers to control except for the locked dash. I assume the dash was locked to balance boss fights but I wish it could have been canceled.

I did not enjoy the backtracking in this game at all. I could have used a few extra fast travel points. I also did not like that the other endings were set up in the way that they were. I would have preferred a more cohesive experience that did not involve collecting the 1800 pieces. The souls like death system made this feeling way worse.

Despite my issues with the backtracking, I am glad the devs had restraint on the amount of abilities we got. It made every one feel special. Exploration in general was done very well when forward progress was being made (you might start to see why I do not like the genre).

Story: Nothing really special in my opinion, but it was serviceable. Nothing really to love or hate.

Atmosphere: This game has amazing art and music. Some of the zones were truly awe inspiring, claustrophobic, beautiful, and more. The final bosses of the game were done very well.

Conclusion: For someone who is not yet a fan of the genre for various reasons, Hollow Knight is still a very well made game to me. Any shortcomings this game has I will attribute to my own personal taste in what I enjoy in a game. I will gladly play the sequel (if it every comes out lol).

this game is truly a masterpiece, i already finished this game a bunch of times and got all the achievements. I can't describe how GOOD this game is and how it made me happy playing, all the environment, music, characters, boss fights and the community. It is truly one of the best games of all time.

The most beautiful game I’ve ever played. The visuals and music and world and vibe alone make this a true classic that’s set apart from every other game I’ve played. But then you have the combat and progression and bosses and movement???? This is an all timer.

I tried this game a few years ago, played for like an hour or so and then dipped cause I didn’t know what to do. But after playing more open ended games like Elden Ring and Tears of the Kingdom, I decided to give this another shot.

The art style and music have the care and beauty of a Studio Gibli film. It has the same vibes that even though the world is haunting, it’s still quite beautiful.

It’s a hard game to get into a first, I had a simple list from a site of where to go at first. I eventually abandoned that after getting the hang of things.

The combat feels nice and fluid, again it just takes some time and upgrades to get that feeling of mastery.

AND THEN I GOT TO THE FINAL BOSS FIGHT!!! I did the secret ending with the true final boss and holy crap was is the most challenging and rewarding boss I’ve ever fought. It took me 4 hours but it was all so enjoyable and I literally screamed when I finally overcame that challenge. It made me feel like I could do anything.

That moment I achieved is why I was so glad I suck with this after the first few hours. This is a masterpiece of a video game….if you give it the time. I can totally understand someone playing this for an hour and then dropping out, cause I’ve done that too.

But, quite like the caverns of Hollow Nest, if you take the time to dive in and really explore you are in for one of the best gaming experiences of all time.

"Você conseguiria, se tivesse vontade."
"Mas você levantará seu ferrão sabendo de sua trágica concepção?"
"Então vá, fantasma de Hallownest. Pegue sua arma e proclame-se como Rei."

The beginning was very enjoyable, i quitted somewhere at the royal waterways worm boss. The games middlepart was not too enjoyable because you needed to visit the old areas repeatedly. I will probably never play this again but if i will, im going to start a new save
