Ape Escape, and Rumble Rose characters on MGSO were amazing! Also improved cameras and peak gaming for PS3. This game is a must play for the PS2.

My admiration and adoration for this game is beyond words.
If you're going to play this game, do yourself a favor and only play on Normal or lower. Hard and Extreme are too hard. I like the improved camera angle they implemented for Subsistence, much better than Snake Eater's.

I see why people keep saying Kojima didn't want to make any more MGS games. You can see some elements of the series getting a little bit too repetitive here. And he pushed the perception of this series with a bold statement in MGS2. I keep wondering how I'd feel about this game If I didn't play the first two MGSs.But that doesn't take away from the revolutionary gameplay of this game. It sets a bar that even recently released stealth games miss. Although the main themes of the story were basically shared by the last 2 games. Kojima manages to make it hit even harder in this one. With a more personal journey for this game's Snake.

3rd favorite MGS. stealth is a bit weak compared to other stealth games like splinter cell, Thief, and Hitman. the game shines when it comes to narrative. great direction from Kojima. Ocelot was starting to get corny towards the end though.
A lot of people say this is the best game in the series and I can see where they're coming from. The stealth and gameplay is steadily improving from the previous titles, and the story is certainly a classic. That being said, as a 29-year-old socialist in the year 2024, I found the misogyny and neoliberal baby boomer political naiveté a bit more noticeable this time around.

Claramente um dos melhores de toda a franquia! A historia é MUITO bem escrita, jogabilidade é maravilhosa, a trilha sonora é perfeita e os gráficos são muitos bons mesmo, talvez o game que mais tenha levado o PS2 ao limite
