this game's aight. what the fuck was that ending though

I love this gameeee! I love seeing Pokemon do interesting, natural things. It's so interesting and fun, yet simple. It's pretty, and has a nice vibe with a good chunk of different ecosystems to introduce multiple types of pokemon. It's sooooo cool. I love it.

I don't understand this game. It does everything right! Amazing graphics, fully voiced cutscenes, a great diversity in Pokemon, fan service, replayability, and so much content. And yet, it's...boring? Like it's not a bad game, but it was so difficult to play for more than an hour at a time because it felt like a slog to get through. The main criticism of the original Pokemon Snap was that it was too short (you could very easily 100% it in like 4 hours), but this is too long? I guess the original hit a sweet spot in length without sacrificing the gameplay loop, but this game is still worth playing imo. Oh yeah and the soundtrack is mid

Fun n cute n casual, however the dopamine drops when all places r unlocked

I didnt expect the Pokemons to snap their own necks but it was very unique

An impressively fun follow-up to the N64 classic. The core gameplay loop of taking photographs & uncovering secrets is as engaging as ever. Perhaps even more so due to the devs adding several "star ratings" for each Pokémon you can aim for, creating even more replayability. Plus there's the added benefit of several more generations of Pokémon being added to the mix ---- hard to argue against that.

while i did enjoy quite a bit of this game for being a pokemon entry that doesn’t focus on battling (i just want to hang out with these little dudes), i would say that it gets a bit repetitive towards the end, making me sour a bit on what i found was generally a fun experience. that being said, i’d almost recommend not to play this all the way through, but to instead play until you get the slightest bit of resistance and to savor the time that you did play.
