Un must have per i fan di Star Wars. Tonnellate di lore, soprattutto sui Sith.
This game is my childhood. It was like nothing I had ever experienced before and still is the best story told in Star Wars (yes I'm sticking to that) This is a game desperately in need of a remaster but it's unique combat style and superior story make it easy to pick up even today.

Nothing in this game goes harder than analyzing the oral history of a deeply misunderstood tribe of nomads with a murder robot. Somebody at BioWare must have been an anthropology major or something.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic isn't your typical Star Wars game. Forget flashy lightsaber duels with Darth Vader – this RPG throws you thousands of years in the past as a Jedi (or maybe a Sith?) trying to save the galaxy. You travel between planets, recruit a cool crew of allies (including a sassy droid!), and the choices you make genuinely impact the story. The graphics might be a bit dated now, but the characters are memorable, the world-building is fantastic, and the twists and turns had me hooked. If you're a Star Wars fan or an RPG enthusiast, Knights of the Old Republic is a must-play.
When it suddenly hit me that Knights of the Old Republic is old enough to buy a beer this year, I got a tad bit emotional lol.
I know everyone says the game’s incredible, but I hate the combat. You can’t determine if you win or lose. The lore is incredible and is really the only reason I play.

This game transformed my perspective on Star Wars. One of the coolest SW stories ever and has proven to me just how vast that galaxy can be. Everything works so well that its dated aspects don't even feel like they matter.
Le légendaire « Star Wars : Knights of the Old Republic » délivre une aventure passionnante, épique, touchante, sombre et parfois même pessimiste à son joueur. C’est une expérience, qui encore aujourd’hui, demeure unique pour chaque fan de l’univers éponyme. Libre à vous d’être le sauveur de la galaxie ou au contraire son pire tyran. Chaque quête est un réel plaisir tant elle peut déboucher sur une multitude de conséquences qui viennent chambouler votre périple. Augmentation du prix du marché pour un produit essentiel à votre survie, haine d’un peuple envers vous, destruction d’une planète ou extinction d’une race… Le jeu n’est pas un conte de fées sauce Disney, bien au contraire, ici c’est le côté sombre, froid et pessimiste de Star Wars qu’on découvre pendant plus de 40 heures. Le tout souligné par un soin du détail digne des grandes heures de Bioware et une gallerie de personnages inoubliables au-delà de charismatiques. On retiendra aussi surtout que l’équipe en charge de l’histoire aura proposé parmi deux des meilleurs seigneurs Sith de l’histoire : le terrible Dark Malak et le légendaire Dark Revan. Au final on est peut-être face à l’un des meilleurs si ce n’est le meilleur titre de cette franchise légendaire. À faire au moins une fois dans sa vie.
