honestly despite being an older kof game it's probably the easiest to just like pick up and play, feels good too as it is kof, just not as good as the games above it in kof (also rugal is low tier what the flip snk)

All I can say abt this is: If you’ve never played a KOF game, or any SNK fighting game, please play this one. It’s amazing and really fun. Despite my personal favorite KOF being ‘02, the title of being one of the best fighting games is true.

So here's another fan-favorite KOF game; improving on everything I already like about the original KOF '98. From music to the characters themselves. It feels way smoother to play and I love how it's practically a love letter to the entire Orochi Saga. Everyone who was playable once from every KOF game before 98 is playable in this game. It makes sense that this is considered one of the best fighting games.
