Once again Umineko delivers a fantasy story. However this is also where I realise that I'm stupid as hell and the game's much much smarter than I am, Ryukishi07 is insane and you gotta respect him.
This chapter is a very unique chapter compared to all the others for various reasons, and I think it was able to do everything very well. I won't spoil it since I want to keep the review short but the chapter is very similar to the Fragment Connecting sequence in Higurashi Chapter 8, except done in a way that it's able to be told in a more linear way and it is able to tie more effectivley into the main story. Overall amazing chapter, now time to see the conclusion.

Yeah, I'm completely checked out. First 3/4s of the tea party was maybe the most hyped I've ever been playing umineko but the sappy way it resolves ruins it, and the rest of the episode's a snoozefest.
Gonna play ep 8 of course but this is a huge step down from higurashi. Ryukishi focused so much on the pointlessly reader-adversarial mystery that he forgot to tell a good story.

Easily my favorite Umi ep and I still think about it all time time almost a year later. What a ride start to finish, I was not okay after that tea party what the fuck Ryukishi
