Classic game tons of fun very inoffensive

It's a incredible game to play with your friends... if you have one.

America meets Shin Megami Tensei

Me di vuelta el juego y la bandera chilena que tengo afuera se convirtió en la bander de Texas. Muy entretenido tanto solo como en coop, wea bacán.

It has been a great time following the development of this game and bittersweet to see its final update come out recently. This game has a lot of charm and many references to American media, much of which I have yet to see the source material for. Broforce is a 2D shooter that takes the player along on a power trip straight out of an '80s action movie, providing creative ways to annihilate foreign terrorists, and also fully destructible environments that sometimes need to be carefully navigated. There are 41 total unlockable characters after the Broforce Forever update, with base abilities that span from close range (and fairly risky) melee attacks to medium and long range projectile attacks. Each "bro" has a unique special ability, usually something that pays homage to that character's source material. One gripe I have had with the game is the choice of attacks that feel sluggish for some of the characters, mainly the newer ones to join the roster. The levels in the game were very fun and diverse, taking you through a jungle crawling with traps, fortified cities, alien infested caves, and Hell itself. Practicing for the "Ironbro Hard" run required getting to know the levels pretty well. Some of the levels that I had gotten used to playing when reopening this game up over the years did end up getting changed in the last update, a change that I have some mixed feelings about. Nonetheless, the gameplay remains roughly the same and just as satisfying. Co-operative gameplay is a feature and can get very chaotic depending on who you play with. Despite some nitpicks, I greatly appreciate the amount of effort and passion put into making this game, including the kickass soundtrack. Broforce is a fun game that I have enjoyed putting a lot of time into completing and replaying, and I am looking forward to see what its developers will move onto next.

The best way to describe this game is 80s fever dream.

It was funny as hell plaything through this game back in the day. All the parody characters are awesome in their own right. Although if you want a more utilitarian perspective some characters are definitely better than others. I remember there was a guy who was just so completely broken that you can essentially pass the level by spamming the skill button.

There were no dull moments in the level design. Everything is extremely fast-paced and that's why I like it. The fact that you are controlling an army of buffed up bad asses, however, doesn't change the fact that the game can still be somewhat challenging at certain points. The difficulty in general though is much lower than many of the platforming games I have played.

The plot is definitely a parody of 80s American culture and it's funny af. Most of the time though you really won't care much about the plot as you blast through rows and rows of enemies. You can also do funny shits like shooting down your rescue helicopter or even killing the president in the end.

I personally find this game to be really interesting. If you want to be sure to check it out.
