So you know how I said how Super Pac-Man was just a more cluttered and worse version of Pac-Man? How quaint that looks in comparison.
Pac & Pal is an even more cluttered version of Super Pac-Man with somehow barely any items to collect, the four ghosts, and one new "enemy" that steals your items (but it only matters if you're going for a high score). The gate unlocking mechanic is even worse here with the cards unlocking gates on the other side of the map, so you have to run back and forth constantly, again, barely picking up anything in the process. Just a mess of a game that feels like a bunch of random mechanics cobbled together with 0 cohesion.
