Yeah this is a masterpiece I think about often; I consider getting a Wii again just to live in this world again. I love when Nintendo hones into this Mii world as, introduced here, feels so quaint; people just having fun on this beautiful island (which you can explore, best decision ever) living their best lives. It doesn't look like the most sustainable economy on Wuhu island judging by their lack of exports and even a functioning hospital, yet people are vibing and im here for it.
So many great games on here too! With the badges making it feel more expansive and challenging. Even playing this by yourself has hours of fun. I'm not ashamed to call this one of the best games made, and a personal love of mine.

i think the removal of baseball and tennis (even tho table tennis is HOT) is a bit of a shame i feel like they could have easily had them in. But then again i guess that means there is always a reason to return to Wii Sports OG from time to time

its wii sports but they just made it better. the quantity of games how the games feel. its just such a fucking good game that used the wii for what the wii is. a fun as fuck party system. also I'm goated at ping pong

Played this always at Ben and Henry's house or Mitchell and Hudsons, love this game, it's great, I need to buy a copy.
I still remember sitting in my basement in the summer of 2009, begging my parents to pick this game up. Now, 15 years later, the game still holds up and is incredibly fun to play with friends.

I don't care how many VR headsets come out or how high display resolutions get, for me the peak of technology was when I booted up Swordfighting and the little guy copied my movements exactly
If Wii Sports was good, then this game is even better. Way more opportunities to swing your Wiimote at mach speeds just to beat the CPU; I love this game.

I don’t know what it is about this game, but I’ve been playing it since it released and still have an equal amount of fun playing it today. Its a classic, and this may be a hot take… but I believe that it’s leaps and bounds better than the original.
