It’ll never be better than Melee, but for what it is Project + is a swell time both causally and competitively. Playing subspace in the P+ engine feels as good as it did when you’re young. I do think the buffed characters can be a bit overtuned, particularly Donkey Kong and Game and Watch. I’ve played this in tournament, it’s a good time. If this game had better Netplay I would play it all the time.

Best smash game is fan made. And Nintendo is PISSED
