Rockstar: "Yea ik GTA VI is coming out soon. Guess I'll just...drop another GTA Online DLC"

What a mindblowing game this was in 2013, I couldn't believe it back then and I still can't haha.

Classique, jeux incroyable en solo et multi

After all these years I still don't understand how the multiplayer mode is so popular. Needless to say the single player is alright.

Very good game, wouldve loved some better npc interactions tho.

Incroyable des barres de fou dessus

It's GTA V, really fun gameplay but I think I prefer the story of IV more. Online can be crazy fun, depending on what you are doing and who with. Wish they made that story DLC but oh well.

The game that won't stop making money. I promise everyone that there are other video games to play that are better.

The massive map and things to do in this game is incredible. Going back to this game time to time brings a smile on my face. I'm very excited what Rockstar has in store for us with the next installment of the GTA franchise.

If mediocrity was a GTA game it'd be this one.
It lulls you in with the promise of fun and you may be inclined to believe there's just as much to do as the previous games but after the first tennis match you realize just how meh this game is.
Absolute wasted potential with the main characters.

Great game could be the greatest of all time if RDR2 didn’t exist.

Anyone looking for a party, anyway?

This game was literally the best experience from a GTA game that I've ever had. Everything from the environment, graphics, AI, physics, radio, story down to the last minute details was perfect. It's the closest thing we have to a PERFECT GTA game.

Awshum minigames, the events and mindless npcs make it all the better but its a pain in the ass having to evade other online players with crap etiquette

Probably the most overrated game in history. Good story, characters, and writing, immersive and detailed open-world, but incredibly mediocre gameplay. I like the driving, but the combat is abysmal. Every enemy in this game is a bullet sponge to the point where you have to think they're just superhuman. Regardless of sensitivity, the shooting feels incredibly stiff, and trust me, there's A LOT of shooting. The best way to counter the awful gunplay is by just turning on aim assist, but then the gameplay becomes a tasteless loop of constantly going in and out of aiming to hit your shots. It's still better than the alternative, but when I have to deal with this much bullshit to make the shooting functional, it's not good design. Despite the story being good, I did also take issue with a couple decisions they made with it. Despite Trevor's pain feeling real due to the sheer isolation and unspoken trauma of the character paired with Steven Ogg's performance, I never really understood why he mourned Brad. It's probably because we never saw or heard about the guy outside of THE PROLOGUE. And the only screentime of his that we witnessed, he was just kind of an asshole, and then he died. That's it. It made the North Yankton confrontation kind of anticlimactic. I also wholeheartedly disagree with what they did to Johnny in this game. Yes, it makes sense for Trevor's character to kill him, but for the few minutes he's in the game, they just straight up disrespected Johnny. There were also a few too many moments where we had to suspend our disbelief, even for GTA standards. Also, every mission with aerial vehicles in this game can go fuck itself. These include tailing missions where we controlled a camera on a helicopter. The controls were consistently shit. The game also has you do these setup missions for heists that only serves to pad out the runtime. I wouldn't be complaining if they weren't fun. Rather than having the player do all three setup missions, why aren't they divided by character? Why can't I just choose one to do and the game just tell me the others did their job and the heist is ready? It would help the replayability and not make the game feel like a slog. I also think the AI for the enemies in the game just suck. What happened to cops asking you to pull over and shooting you when necessary like in GTA IV? Why have we just downgraded to where they just shoot you on sight? And similar to RDR2, I think the game tries to make everything too immersive, making you do really annoying gimmicky shit throughout just for the sake of immersion. Just like in RDR2, it works in the game's benefit and detriment. Again, I do think Los Santos is amazing. I absolutely love the second act of the game. The characters are all phenomenal, with Trevor and Lamar being standouts. The comedy is absolutely hilarious, definitely the funniest game I've ever played. It has a lot of great moments. However, this is not a game that is deserving of the high praise it gets. Not even close. Still a decent game but incredibly overrated.

Its GTA V, lots of things to hate online, but its a game everyone loves regardless.
