This game felt horrible to play.
The start of the game was somewhat promising: you play as Hulk and destroy the endless military coming to get you. Yes Hulk’s movement was super stiff and the gameplay made little sense but it was tolerable. It is in the second level that the game took a very very sinister turn for the worse.
Instead of the Hulk, you play as Bruce Banner who couldn’t do jack shit. I did not boot up a game with Hulk in the title just so I can play fucking stealth games. The gameplay is so gruesome to sit through that it literally felt like I was sitting on top of a sheet of nails. And you had to play as Bruce for SEVERAL stages before you finally get to play as Hulk again.
But when you do, the game offers nothing at all similar to the adrenaline rush in the opening. Instead, the battle makes the already stupid controls even worse and at one point, I decided it was not worth it. There was absolutely no reason for me to sit through this game.
I did play this game as a child so unfortunately I don’t remember much from it. However, I can undoubtedly say this game was terrible to play. Please ignore it if you can, for your own sanity’s sake.
