My memory of this game will always be that it was too easy to the point of being kinda boring up until the beam struggle or whatever at the end of the final boss fight, at which point I was given a QTE that required me to mash a button so rapidly for such an extended period of time that I literally physically could not do it and had to get help from a friend.

I played this game as a kid and had the itch to revisit it recently, which I don't regret at all. The story is relatively simple (what do you expect from a kid's game?) but it's a super-cute romp through a fantasy world. The controls aren't my favorite (the scheme is swapped when you're underwater vs when you're on land) but I would still recommend giving this one a try if you haven't before. It's relatively short, especially if you don't try for all the chests (though they're often relatively easy to access, especially with Moe's Sniffer on the bottom screen). It's a platformer where you play as a cute starfish. It does what it says on the tin.
