Muy muy chulo y con muchísima variedad. Podría ser más variado, pero realmente la variedad la aportan las armas constantemente. Me gusta que no puedas mejorar armas, así tienes que probar nuevas sí o sí

Best gameplay in the entire series, but the tradeoff is one of the most abominable, agonizing, abhorrent, and downright treacherous stories I've ever seen in fiction. I've seen five year olds recalling their dreams make better stories than this multi-million dollar production. Saying everything I feel about this game on here will take me a long while so allow me to shorten it to the best of my abilities:
- Characters are either severely underutilized, completely assassinated figurately, and literally, or are replaced by even worse characters.
- Ava should be turned in to the United Nations due to violating several peace treaties throughout the course of this game.
- The main duo that serves as the villains suck hard ass. One is annoying Twitch streamer while the other is stripped of a genuine good arc.
- Humor is just loud = funny.
The only good thing about the whole game was Penn and Teller.

All the build up, all the hype, all the fan fair, and for what? At best, a 2/5 game that is ruined by the worst dialog ive seen in a video game

everything about this game is a 10/10 to me except the main story writing, even though i don't mind the calypsos when they aren't trying to be bargain bin handsome jack

personally, i think they should've taken the focus away from lameass characters like ava and lilith. wish we would just hang with brick, mordecai, and tiny tina instead of those two cringey idiots. god, the ending was so fucking lame, some real MCU shit. i hope ava dies in the first cutscene of borderlands 4 or something ngl.

writing in some of the side quests is fine tho, and some of the characters in the main story do be good (the boomtown trio from before, wainwright, hammerlock, balex... honestly, eden-6 might be the peak of the game). game also adds some pretty neat lore around the eridians and vaults, ngl, which is surprising but shows the writers can actually cook sometimes... they just didnt for the main story!

that said, the complaints people have are vastly overblown. people whine that you have to go back to sanctuary and talk to lilith too often but like... you deadass only do that like less than 5 times in the playthrough and it takes a couple mins tops. plus, personally speaking, my inventory would be full of shit i wanted to bank by the time i got called to sanctuary anyway.

the start of the game do be a pain in the ass tho, the pandora-to-sanctuary section is kinda boring and way longer than it should be. games gets way better the second you step onto the second planet. also couldn't give a shit about 99% of the serious plot beats, because i just don't care about the characters that the plot focuses on. maya got done so dirty tho, but i didnt even care much about her. she was my least favorite bl2 vh anyway.

gotta say, also, the game was long as fuck if you do all sidequests. i have 50 hours logged on EGS for it, though in-game it says my moze had 1d, 12h... but, for fuck's sake, i ended the game at level 51. you were done with the campaign around level 35 in the previous games, so bl3 is definitely long as fuck compared to them, at least when doing side shit.

thankfully, tho you don't gotta replay the game ever unless you want to reach postgame with multiple classes, thanks to the mayhem system. this is extremely welcome, because i burned the fuck out of bl2 back in the day due to have to do 3 playthroughs to reach the true postgame! i got so fucking sick of hearing the dialogues in bl2 due to how much i played it, considering dialogue skip mods weren't a thing back in the day...

speaking of bl2 comparisons, im thankful that scaling has been dialed back. it was so fucking godawful how all your shit would start becoming irrelevant over and over in bl2 as you started leveling past lv45 due to the insane scaling, bl3 is more in line with TPS in that sense. if you get some good shit, it will last you a long while without being forced to replace it.

on that note, good shit is much more common because bl3 isn't afraid to shower you in legendaries. bl2 was a stingy fucking asshole and getting a legendary felt like a goddamn miracle, and then if you were high-level-but-not-level-cap-yet it would last you like 10 minutes before you had to throw it in the garbage and replace it with ANYTHING that was at the same level as enemies.

classes are also way better than they were in past games, with a lot more versatility due to having multiple action skills. plus, they're all more unique with things like zane getting a second action skill instead of grenades or FL4K having a focus on pets instead of action skills. i tried all characters out a bit and liked them a lot but ultimately did my first run with moze, which was great other than the fact i would run the game's audio entirely by spamming nukes and explosions... which is a bit of a shame cuz the soundtrack is good, but i barely got to hear it.

visuals are top notch too, they really used the modern graphics potential to elevate the unique art style of the series and there's some genuinely awesome environments. how cool the game can look at times is so at odds with how stupid the writing usually is.

anyway, i meant to make a short review instead of ranting which is why i didn't use caps. in short, bl3's writing for the main story has a lot of poopoo peepeee doodoo sharts but its issues are vastly overblown by most people. absolutely everything else besides that, though, absolutely fucking blows the previous games out of the water. fun fucking game for sure.

kind generic but Iike the world
