honestly i swear this controls much worse than the nes version. Played both back to back and i was flying thru the nes version but could barely even get past the first stage in this. i'm sure it's fun for score attack and such if you can master it but i just wasn't clicking with it as well as I did with the nes release. See my review on that version for thoughts on the gameplay.

P.S. the sound design was really annoying in this version, just wanted the birds to shut up... though I do appreciate it trying to be atmospheric.
