Graphics and overall production wise, this game is a big step up from Z2 chaos.

Gameplay though, is a step down.

The game has become a simple dynasty warriors style button masher with preanimated takedowns and a Devil Trigger style super mode to break up the pace.

The chiburi and frame perfect input combo system returns, which is neat, but they don't add much to the shallow combat.
