Sonic Unleashed (Wii) offers a mixed bag of thrills and frustrations. The daytime stages are exhilarating, with classic Sonic speed and platforming, showcasing a gorgeous, globe-trotting adventure. However, nighttime Werehog stages are a significant departure, focusing on slower, combat-heavy gameplay and feeling overly long with repetitive objectives.
