More of the same as Yo Kai Watch 1, with some improvements but also more downsides. The story is a good expansion on the original with both familiar and new areas to explore and even more Yo Kai to befriend. Held back by the annoying Key Quest feature that was made to pad out the story and an unnecessary barrier to entry for the post game content. Unless you feel like grinding levels like a motherfucker, you're not getting anywhere after the credits roll. Like the first entry, worth a casual playthrough but hard to recommend the post game stuff. Also, don't get Bony Spirits. Get Psychic Specters instead since that's your Pokemon Emerald or Platinum equivalent.
